Located in the first district of Douala, the building was in turn the court of races during the German occupation and the residence of the chief of district during the French reign. In 1931 it became the Littoral court of Appeal. Renovated in 2000 (with the adding of two additional flags), the palace has kept its original architecture and its special appeal. There are different dates on each of its facades, representing the years of its transformation.

Located at the Kitchener avenu of Bonanjo, the Douala Aministrative Centre which is also the Econamic Capital of Cameroon
